Comprise is a verb. But there are numerous small inaccuracies on this page which need fixing, or it is hard to take seriously.

‘enlish’ should be ‘English’

The ‘wrong’ sentence should be ‘His book comprises of 4 chapters’ – it is the ‘of’ that is incorrect, the verb comprises would still be used in the 3rd person.

“It already contain ‘of’ in it.” – should of course be “It already contains ‘of’ in it.”

‘british’ should be ‘British’ (cap B)

This is incorrect.

Correct: “His book is comprised of 4 chapter.”

Comprise is not a verb.
