In continuation to last week’s email, I would like to bring to your notice another institution, which has established itself in the management scenario – Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). The institute offers specialized degrees in different fields of Management. Entry to any of its full-time MBA courses is through a two-stage process. The first stage is the NMAT test. Details of the test are as given below:

MBA (Core Programme): This is a two-year full time programme offering specialization in International Business, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources & Behavioural Sciences, Information Systems, Operations, Rural Marketing and Advertising and Communications.

Total number of students admitted to the programme is 240.

MBA (Pharmaceuticals Management): This is a two-year full time programme for Science and Pharmacy Graduates, in Life sciences/ Bio-medicine/ Chemical Engineering/ Pharmacy/ Medicine and two years work experience in the relevant field.

MBA (Capital Markets): Candidates seeking admission to this course must have Bachelor’s degree and minimum two-years experience in organizations recognized by SEBI, IRDA, PFRDA, Forward Markets Commission or any Bank.

MBA (Actuarial Science): Candidates seeking admission to this programme must be Graduates / Post Graduates in Statistics / Mathematics / Engineering / Economics or Graduates/ Post Graduates from other disciplines, who have obtained minimum 80% marks in Mathematics in 12th Standard.

MBA (Global Business): This is a six trimester Management Programme focusing on Global Business for graduates with 2-year work experience.
