Today, one of our reader shared one of the application she is using for improving her vocab skills, and she wanted me to share the app with you guys. To cut the crap short, this application is for iOS users. If you don’t know then, iOS is an operating system on which iPod, iPhone, and iPad works. The app is “Power Vocab“.
PowerVocab is an intuitive application for iOS devices which personalizes the English vocabulary learning for GRE, GMAT or SAT exams and personal improvement. There are many quotation websites in the web industry but very few knows how to showcase their content, so we have tried something new (atleast we think so ). Just go to the home page and you will see a matrix of 26 characters of our very own English language.

Working:

1) Go to homepage and take your mouse to anyone of the character in the matrix, and click. bingo……

2) A list of authors whose name starts with the alphabet, on which you clicked, come up.

3) Click on any name and see the writers/authors/poets/scientists etc profile (along with the photograph) and the quotes/phrases/maxim/adage written by him.

XAT 2011 Cut-Offs, Analysis, Answer key

I know you guys are waiting for the cut-offs of XAT 2011. Here’s the quick review:

In simple words : “Hosh udd gaye” One of the toughest XAT exams till date. Quant of XAT 2011 will give even our Quant Gurus a tough time. Verbal was ok. Most scoring was DI section. The one who had picked quant section earlier must had a taken a good amount of time.

Right strategy would be to take up DI first, Quant second and Verbal in the last. Institutes and Gurus are predicting that overall cut off of XAT 2011 will drop this year as compare to last one. But stay tuned to detailed analysis.

Various sites has come up with their cut offs and analysis. Lets first talk about the cut offs of XAT 2011:

Analysis by different institutes:

IMS:

XAT 2011 came up with a number of surprises. The break of questions: 34 questions in Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning, 24questions on Analytical Reasoning & Decision Making and 43 questions in Data Interpretation & Quantitative Ability. Moreover, this time all the questions carried variable weightage in the range of 1 mark to 5 marks and the marks for each question was mentioned beside the question. Therefore, the entire paper was a test of your ability to select the questions judiciously. The Quantitative Ability questions were difficult, whereas the Data Interpretation questions were doable. The weightage given to questions on decision-making was higher. The Verbal Ability section was also on the difficult side, though question types were similar to last year. After two years, poetry based question has made a comeback in XAT. The essay topic was also presented in a different manner this year – an argument was given and one had to present a judgement on the argument along with justifications and examples in 250 words. Overall, it was a difficult and tricky paper.

How should you write a XAT essay?

Always write in paragraphs
It’s not a natural but learned skill
Different paragraphs express different ideas that contribute to the main idea
A paragraph should ideally contain :

Topic Sentence: it is the 1st sentence expressing the main idea of the paragraph- Say what you are going to say
Supporting Sentences: they expand the main idea expressed in the topic sentence- Say it
Concluding Sentence: rounding off what has been said or a logical conclusion of the idea in the topic sentence- Say it again!!!

Precautions while writing XAT essay?

Follow a flow of paragraphs
Always let the first paragraph be an introduction to the subject matter
Expansion/ support/ refutation of the idea must follow in subsequent paragraphs
The last paragraph must have a conclusion of the main idea
There could be two forms of writing- Deductive and Inductive
You should have good knowledge of the topic to write about
Read the directions carefully
Recognize action words- discuss, evaluate, argue, comment etc.
Focus on the issue rather than peripheries
Choose words with precise meanings; avoid ambiguity
Do not use Jargon
Do not use Slang
Do not use Cliché
Do not use Abbreviations
Do not use Quotations without acknowledgments
Make tentative statements; avoid definitive statements- it leaves a scope for further discussion

Difference between Expensive & Expansive

Many working professionals make this error of writing expensive as expansive. Before explaining it can you recall the difference between them. Before reading further give atleast 1 min to yourself and try to decipher the difference between the two words. Meaning is hidden in the spelling. Didn’t get yet? One more clue: convert these adjectives to verb and noun respt.. I hope your brain must have lighted by now.

Explanation:
expensive > expand
1. Capable of expanding or tending to expand.
2. Broad in size or extent; comprehensive: expansive police powers.
3. Open and communicative; talkative or effusive: Wine made the guest expansive.
4. Grand in scale: an expansive lifestyle.

whenever in spelling dilemna, think of the spelling of the root word

expansive > expand
1. Requiring a large expenditure; costly.
2. Marked by high prices: expensive stores.

I am writing this post because I did the same today in my office, and when my manager pointed out this mistake to me I was baffled as to how can I make this silly mistake.

Conclusion: whenever in spelling dilemna, think of the spelling of the root word (assuming you know the root word) and you will find what can be the correct spelling. This cannot be always true but in probability terms it will be more than 70% (figures are based on my personal experience as I didn’t find any nielsen research report on this )Similar Posts:

Well as the number of IRMA takers are increaseing year by year, many students don’t even very much clear about this exam. So below is a small overview of IRMA which will help you know about IRMA in detail, especially, the GK topics which are generally asked in IRMA.

4. Issues arising from the social and economic exclusion of large sections from the benefits of development such as poverty and inequality: poverty levels, poverty line, disparities in income, employment and literacy by rural-urban background, and gender and social groups like caste and religion.

5. Right to information; issues relating to good governance and accountability to the citizens including the maintenance of human rights, and of probity in public life.

6. Planning in India, 11th Five Year Plan-goal, targets and strategies.

7. Agriculture in India, crop and livestock production systems.

8. Approaches to rural development: basic features of target based approach, area based approach; participatory development etc.

9. Rural poverty alleviation and development programmes – goals, features and major achievements: green revolution, operation flood, land reforms, NREGA, ICDA, IAY, SSA and NRHM.

10. Institutions in rural development-policy, role and characteristics; rural banks, NGO’s, co-operatives, PRIs, corporate social responsibility.

11. Health issues including the management of public health, health education, and ethical concerns regarding health care.

12. Primary education, regional variation in the level of education, educational status of different social groups.

13. Social movements, recent legislations on social issues.

14. Internal security, naxalism, and related issues such as the preservation of communal harmony.

15. Environmental issues, ecological preservation, conservation of natural resources. This section is usually quite difficult to solve with many of the questions being based on comprehensive understanding of the recent economic and social development issues. Create Your Own G.K Sheet

Generally whenever we are in need of a G.K book we go look for a Free downloadable file on internet or go to a Pratiyogita Darpan Site. Even I used to do that ..But not anymore as Google has launched ‘GoogleLookup’ which will seriously make your life a little bit simpler.

‘Google Lookup’ is a SpreadSheet function of Google Docs. Using this function you can find Google/Internet (pun intended) right from your spreadsheet. Tutorial Video is embeded below. It’s you who has to think how you can exploit this new function provided by Google. After watching the embeded video I chuckled and thought that – now this is the power of Tech-Age. Well, let me cover ‘GoogleLookup’ in Q&A form:

Q. What is Google Lookup?

A. A google-docs spreadsheet function which searches Internet and brings the attribute you want to find. For Eg. if you want to kow the capital of ‘India’: you will put ‘India’ (event) in one column of spreadsheet and ‘Capital’ (which is attribute) in other column header. After this you will use ‘=googlelookup(“India”,”Capital”)’ in a cell and it will bring the result – New Delhi in no time.

Q. Why Google Lookup?

A. To name a few:

For Students: create GK Sheet, Project Research, Holidays List etc.

For HouseWife: know Festival Dates, Squares & Cubes (;)), songwriter etc.

For Professionals: Know Stock Price, Event Date, Move Release Date, Capital of a Country, GK Sheet etc.

Hfffff! I think I’ve provided enough reasons of why googlelookup?

Q. Limitation of Google Lookup?

A. You can do upto 1000 lookups in a single spreasheet. Even Google’s official blog didn’t talk about it. I found it when I tried to go beyond it. Here’s the proof.

Well after last post of mine, you must be wondering about the new module tutes is going to lauch or may be not. Whatever be the case, today I am announcing our New download box section to our readers. Box.net first of all was expansive for me, secondly it takes too much time to load and many users of MBAtutes do not have the broadband connection. Before I drill down to the features of our download box, I want to tell that you can subscribe to our Facebook Page or the MBAtutes Twitter account for the latest buzz in the MBA industry.

Till now you have to wait for the box to appear and then drill down to the relevant folder/file. Well now that will not be the case and the download page will immediately appear.

1) Download box/page immediately open after clicking the link on the head of this page or by clicking the banner towards the right side of this page. Here’s the screenshot of the page.

2) You can see what is popular in the download section in the Popular download section which is just below the search box(covered in next point).

3) You can search a file in the download section by keywords. For e.g if you are looking for sample papers of CAT, just put ‘CAT Sample papers’ in the search box and the result will bring all the sample papers of CAT. If result is not appropriate change/imporve the keyword you have used.

4) You can also filter the material with date/no. of downloads. Here’s the screenshot:

Well Publications Division Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (PDBN) has launched the official 54th edition of India 2010 reference manual. It contains all the facts, statistics and data of different sectors of India like: Agriculture, Commerce, Defence, Education etc which are too often asked in different competitive examinations including few MBA exams. It is a 1292 page manual with loads of data to chew, so if you are any coaching institute, then this manual will help you in making notes for students.

And if you are a student, then you have to be smart enough to filter out the data you need. You should make the notes after filtering out the concerned data. A good tool to make notes online is: google notebook, and a good offline tool is One-Note of microsoft.

The day TOI crest edition was launched in the market (may be in September), I was in search of it. I got my first copy of Crest Edition on its 5th edition when my ‘Paper-walah’ got me the Saturday weekly magazine on Tuesday. Well the next day I searched on internet (after-all I am a netizen ) about TOI Crest Edition so that I can read it online, but all in vain. Even today some people find it difficult to get it.

Many of you come to this site as you won’t be able to see your result as the server of CATiim is not responding. Even when I tried to ping their server, it was giving a “Request Timed Out”. So there nothing to worry though as “Sabra Ka Phal Meetha hi Hota hai”. Just keep trying……

I just don’t understand why the hell CAT is taking so many chances on their paper-taking and result-declaring quality. There are so many mouths in the industry which are talking about the quality of CAT 2009. First there was the exam server failure, and now the server with result page. Where the hell the money spent by the students went when it ain’t invested in the right technology??? Well lets not go into the debate where our money went as right now we are anxious (not curious) about our result. PG B-School Ranking 2010 Reviewed

Pagalguy has launched its B-School Ranking 2010. I went through the Rankings and the methodology of calculating the rank of the B-Schools.

Salient features of the PaGaLGuY B-school Rankings, 2010

Total number of valid respondents polled (sample size): 9,576

Total number of b-schools in the initial list: 184
Total number of b-schools in the final rankings: 92
Of which Nationally Aspired-to b-schools: 55*

And Regionally Aspired-to b-schools: 37
(5 from Jaipur
14 from Mumbai
10 from Hyderabad
8 from Chennai)

2 Colleges got black-listed from the Ranking: Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur and International Management Institute, Delhi

Quite different from last year’s Rankings - New looks, More Colleges, Regional Rankings, New options of Ranking. Well I found some good points and some not-so-good points in this year’s PG B-School Ranking , and I have jotted them down to share it with you guys.

Good Points:

1) It’s all about Looks: Decent looking Blue theme is used in user interface and the speed of the Javascript used is also good. Full points to them. Here is the screen-shot:

2) Awesome UI: Whole user interface is very friendly and have provided some salient features like

Filtering of colleges according to the score they accept.
Link of College website on hovering through the college name in the list.
Rankings on different criterion like: Freshers, Work Ex, Women,Alumni, Aspirants, MBA Students.

3) Full Transparency: Whole methodology of calculating the Rankings is published. Also different opinions has been published regarding the rankings.

4) Comparitoption: the ‘Compare B-School‘ section which helps you compare different colleges is seriously very solid. Saves lot of time in deciding which gd/pi to attend in case of clashes …just kidding. Clashes are solved by re-arranging instead of dropping one option.

5) Quant-Savvy Ranking: All kind of Statistics/Mathematics is used in calculating this ranking. According to Apurv, the ranking was put to the test of Recursive Induction (I forgot when did I hear this term last time, well Apurv has tried to explain it here) in order to maintain the authenticity of the Rankings.

6) New Ivy Leagues : Last but not the least PG has for the first time introduced the Regional Rankings (R.R) this year. They have included those colleges which have only regional reach. 4 Regions – Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Mumbai have been included in R.R.

Not-So-Good Points:

1) Only 4 regions are covered in Regional Rankings. I don’t know the reason behind this but more regions would have made the Rankings more worthy.

2) Regional Colleges of Delhi (Capital of India) is ignored. Still I don’t have any clue. Delhi guys don’t you want to know the rankings of the regional colleges in Delhi? or everyone is eying only IIFT, IMT, MDI etc…

Few Nitty-Gritties:

1) If you will go to the ‘Compare B-Schools’ section and you don’t know the name of the college then you have to ‘double click‘ inside the B-School-search-box so that you can select your college directly from the B-School list. Here is the screen shot.

2) Mouse Over the B-School Name in the list in order to know more about its ranking. A pop-up will appear consisting its different ranks, website link of the college, and the discussion thread related to that college in PG Forum.

Yesterday Vaibhav told me that mbatutes is giving a virus alert on visiting. I was shocked by knowing this and started finding the issue with mbatutes. After doing some thorough research I found that some malware got loaded to my server through my laptop. Actually I don’t use the antivirus as I think antivirus creates more problem than solving them. Well I have sorted the issue and malware is been removed and you will not get the virus warning anymore.

Many of you must have noticed few images of google, yahoo etc in the right sidebar of this page, and RSS for entries on top of this page. So in order to increase your knowledge I’ll write in order.

1) FEEDS/RSS

In a nutshell it is the dynamic (which gets created on its own) file which contains the updated content of your site. These feeds are only read by any feed reader/aggregator just like an epub can be read by Kindle. If you don’t know about kindle and epub, then no worries here are the following pages where you can do more research:

Though RSS is a subset of Feeds but here my motive is not tell you the technical difference but to make sure that you never gets embarrassed when somebody asks you about your feeds/subscriptions.

Take note of the image in the Resource box. This image is used more often by any site which provides its feeds. So feed is an update to read which you do not need a mailbox but an aggregator/feedreader. Well feeds got invented as people didn’t want to give their email addresses and they did not want to visit every site daily.

Well have a look to this video in which Chris has explained what is RSS. This will help you more in understanding RSS.

2) FeedReader:

When you are creating feeds, then obviously you need one tool to read it. So feedreader is the tool whose purpose it to read the feeds/rss. Though there are large number of feedreaders in market but I have few favorites. Here are my favorite:

Desktop Feedreaders:

1) FeedDemon (My favorite. I use this application only)

2)FeedReader

Online Feedreaders:

1) Google Reader

2) Netvibes

3) Bloglines

Setup your Feeds:

I want you to follow a safer journey in feedreading i.e you should maintain an online feedreading account which should be linked to a desktop application so that you can read your feeds online as well as offline. By following this route you also get rid of the risk of loss of your feedlist once your windows gets crashed. After all we are the people who do not want to be dependent on our PC for our data. So, I am making a small assumption and that is all of you own at-least one gmail account, if not then create one. Now:

a) Type “Google Reader” in google and press the first link in the result.

b) Login with your google account

c) Enter the site name or feed url (get when you click on the feed button/logo on any site) in the box appeared when you will click “Add Subscription” which is Yin the top left position of the webpage as shown in the figure.

5) Now download Feeddemon. Here is the download page of feeddemon: http://www.newsgator.com/individuals/feeddemon/ .

Remember: Feeddemon is an open source tool so even if you are working on an office computer, there’s no harm in installing this tool.

6) After installation you can import your feeds either from google reader or from an OPML file. OPML file is generated when you export your list of feeds from any feedreading tool. Well you need to just enter your google username and password to sync your feeddemon with google reader. I like Feeddemon due to the feature of whether I read my feeds on feeddemon or on google reader the reading status automatically gets updated on its own on both the applications.

7) You are good to go now. Your feeddemon application will looks like this.

Now I hope I have been able to atleast remove some of your doubt about feeds and feedreaders. I haven’t talked about rest of the feedreaders as it is out of the scope of this article. There is one major reason of writing this post and that is majority(more than 90%) of our users are subscribing it through email subscriptions, so I have decided to show them a new and better route. Kids are still naive for feeds, rss, and feedreader, and this article will give some idea about this new(not for everyone) technology.

After watching the strip the first thing which came to my mind was Savita , but this is somewhat different from that , though, it has all the capabilities of taking you to the stage of Orga**. Well coming back to “Mind your business, Anna” – the name of their first comical strip. I find it lot more genuine and fun to read.

IIFT 2009 Cut-Offs & Analysis

I am sure IIFT continuing its last three years track of giving surprises has been a surprise for all of you once again, but then it was as predicted by us. With 122 questions ( 28 in Quant, 40 English, 34 in LR/DI, and 20 in GK) it almost matched our guess IIFT paper.

Talking about Cut-off the first hand feel which we got from our students is that a score of 32-35 should fetch an IIFT, Delhi call, and a score of should be good enough to fetch 28-32 IIFT,Kolkata call.

The paper like last year mentioned that there will be sectional cut-offs, We think that

Quant Sectional Cut-offs should be no higher than 5-6 marks.

DI/LR cut-off should be no higher than 5.5-6.5 marks.

GK cut-off should be no higher than 1.3-2.0 marks

English cut-off should be no less than 8 marks.

Overall – 32-35 for IIFT, Delhi; 28-32 for IIFT, Kolkata

Although I have some set of questions in my mind but still it would be better if they directly come from you. All you need to do is to write your question below and we will include that question in our Interview; we just need the question, so please don’t give us your email id or name. Top 5 Most common English grammar errors

Hello students! Hope your preparations for your most awaited exams are in full swing! And for those who are not so confident about their preparation should not panic, there is still time, to make the improvements. So in this article I will be discussing the most discussed, and yet always mistaken, subject- the common grammatical errors. It has been observed that even the students who are really good at vocabulary and stuff and consider English their cup of tea, makes these few commonly made grammatical errors in this following article we would discuss the same. So here goes the most made mistakes:

1. Never use two past tenses simultaneously:

It’s the most common error, while in fluency of speaking or even writing for that matter we often use sentences like “ I dint knew you were so good at dancing”. Now over here, we cant use both, “knew” and “dint” together we can only use one of them the correct form of this would be “ I dint know, you were so good at dancing”.

2. Another one major blunder that people often make is “ I will do it”:

Over here “it” can never be used as a matter of fact it’s a rule of English to always use “so” whenever you are treating a line like that.

3. Also you cant use sentences like “ I will go and do so”:

presence of “and” is not required over here, only “I will go do so” would do.

4. Incorrect use of apostrophe:

it should be remembered that apostrophe is used in two cases. One; to show contractions e.g. “ don’t in place of do not.”, second to represent possessions e.g. “ its mark’s pen”. Therefore apart from this it shouldn’t b used where it doesn’t belong.

5. Another confusion that people face is while using i.e. and e.g.:

i.e. is an abbreviation used for “id est.” means that is , which is used to explain things in other words. While e.g. is “exempli gratia” which is used to mention the examples specifically.

So next time when you are writing an essay or enjoying your fluent English conversation make sure that you don’t make the following blunders. May be I am late in giving this news so late but whatever it may be, if you are still unaware of this then here is the official CAT Demo Test for you. You just have to click the ‘click here to begin‘ button on the Prometric (Official CAT 2009 Conductor) Site. I have also shown it in the picture alongside this post. BTW, click the undermentioned link to directly go to demo site.

Online CAT 2009 Demo Test

This is a 15 min Demo test in which you can get to know the real User Interface of CAT 2009. On the very first note I find it very similar to GMAT test. But the major difference between CAT and GMAT is that you can review the question later in CAT, which you cannot do in GMAT. In GMAT once the question is marked, it is market but it is not so in CAT 2009. Here are some more screenshots.

It’s been long time I have written any article. But I have come up once again with a very useful freeware. As you have read the title of this post, it is about ‘Tehelka’ Magazine. I find this magazine tough to read; this is the reason I prefer reading it. But yesterday while reading the hard copy I thought they must be having their site. So I explored this free e-version of the magazine.

Here are the steps you need to take in order to read it free:

Step 1:

Go to www.tehelka.com

Step 2:

You will reach to a new page. You have to register here in order to read. After all taking this small pain of registering will not harm us. BTW, they can use your information for marketing purpose. Here is their privacy policy. You can skip putting your address information in the register form.

Step 3:

Click the picture of the issue once register and you will reach to the e-version. You can also download the ebook; here is the image:

But while going through the latest issue of pratiyogita darpan, I saw a picture link http://emagazine.pdgroup.in/ where we can read all the issues of Pratiyogita Darpan online for FREE. So if you are preparing for the GA/GK Section of any exam then, this is THE link for you.

All you need to do is:

Gitanjali (Nobel Prize fetcher) by Rabindranath Tagore

Now-a-days I am reading Gitanjali by Rabindranath Tagore. This is the book which brought the Nobel prize to Tagore. This is the real piece of literature. Seriously, I had never read anything like this, not in the philosophical terms but in terms of language used. For me this is really phodu. A must read for MBA aspirants because until and unless we will read the phodu (;)) content online, we won’t feel that CAT passages are not so difficult. And we need that aptitude to crack the CAT passages. So make sure that you are reading some phodu content also, apart from the normal Hindu, TOI, Frontline, BT, BW etc. Also now start focusing on readin the material on computer. I will keep bringing some good stuff to read online.BTW, this work is under public domain, so you can also distribute it among your friends without worrying about the copyright issue.

CAT 2009 will be computer based test

So it’s been finally officially declared that the CAT 2009 will be a computer based test. Right now it’s not very clear that whether it will be computer adaptive test (CAT) like GMAT in which next question will depend on your marking of the previous question i.e if you mark the previous question right then a more difficult question will come else the less difficult one or not. Also in CAT (Computer Adaptive Test) the marks to each question varies according to its difficulty.

Here is one excerpt:

“The CAT will be conducted at Prometric centers across the country. The locations of these centers will be determined only after all applications have been received. Students will get some idea about how to prepare for this year’s test when the CAT advertisements and booklets are released,” said IIM Bangalore (IIM-B) Professor Amarnath Krishnaswamy.

Knowing a definition of word doesn’t solve the purpose, we should also keep maitaining the list of all the difficult words. Being a lazy person I never feel like maintaining a diary of difficult words. I want something quick and easy. So if you are also somewhat similar to me then you should see the embeded video. Find the meaning of a word without leaving the Web Page

Many a times I have seen that people especially the students who want to know the meaning of a word go to the new page and type dictionary.com/thefreedictionary.com to look up the meaning of a word. Don’t you think that leaving the page distracts your concentration? If yes then I have come up with a video tutorial which will help you in installing a plugin on your firefox browser, after which you don’t have to go to any other page or site to look for the meaning of a word. You just need to select the word and press “V”, and a new small window will appear to the right side of the browser which will give you the meaning of the word. You don’t need to worry about the source as this scripts brings the meaning from wikitionary/dictionary.com/thefreeditctionary.com. You just have to change the settings and that’s it.

So I’ll not bore you anymore by writing the tutorial in the post. You should watch the video which will better convey the message and consumes less time of yours. I hope you will find this plugin helpful in your daily surfing of internet. I will bring more such updates in future. BTW, here is the video (5 minutes)

Today while going through the stats of MBAtutes I found that many users land on mbatutes while searching for india year book 2009. So I thought why not I give them what they need so that they don’t have to see the older version i.e India year book 2008. Yes, India year book 2008 is also available on mbatutes and now I am sharing the India Year Book 2009 with you. Please click the title of the embeded file to download it directly from SCRIBD. Please note that the e-book contains 1253 pages, therefore, you can face difficulty while downloading the file. I am searching for the easiest way to download it. Atlast I have downloaded the file from the Publicaitionsdivision.nic.in. There are 2-3 ways to download this file easliy.

1) Via SCRIBD which is given above. I know this method doesn’t work, but this option cannot be completely ruled out as it does work sometimes.

2) Via Govt. Publication Site:

MIT Museum – The 150 Exhibition

A very unique way to celebrate 150th birthday (10 April, 2011) of MIT (Yes the original Messachusetts Institute of Technology). MIT Museum has started a new site where they are calling the students, alumni, faculty member or any other person related to MIT to nominate some very unique person, place, thing or idea. After this nominations they will select the top 150 unique identities of MIT and showcase them in the MIT museum.

Though 150th birthday is after two years, they have started collecting the items now. Till now there has been 123 nominations. Here is the screenshot of the nominations. To go to the site, please click the image or this link: MIT Museum Nominations.

So if you are somehow related to MIT and have something to share then go to the MIT Museum site and nominate your stuff. In my opinion this is a very creative way to commemorate the institute’s birthday. I think others too will come up with such idea. Do you want to discuss or know more about IIM k? if yes then I came across the students portal of IIM Kozhikode i.e http://iimklive.com today. You can get the real insights of IIM K more on this portal than the official site of IIMK. Though you cannot participate or see the whats going on on the students forum for IIM K students or alumni, you can participate in the mentorship forum started by IIM K students i.e Mentorship @IIM K (this is the name they have give to this new forum)

Mentorship @ IIM K started this year and currently there isn’t much topics and thread to discuss. Few topics on this forum are:
